Kingfishers are well known to hunt fish from riverside perches, and this beautiful sterling silver ornament is a beautiful depiction of this scene. Featuring 2 enamelled kingfishers, perched on a sterling silver branch, this is an item which has been made to the most exacting of standards. The kingfishers have been hand enamelled by highly skilled painters, creating overlapping colours on the silver body which are then repeatedly glazed and baked at high temperatures, to create a visually stunning piece. The item has been lacquered to provide protection against tarnishing and is presented in a silk lined gift box. All our Saturno items carry UK hallmarks which is your guarantee that the piece is .925 sterling silver. We recommend using a soft cloth only to clean the item, and this will keep your ornament in great condition for years to come.
