Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Precision 6424 manual wind. Jumbo 36mm size case with silvered dial and baton hour markers.  Serial number 1200611, expanding bracelet 6636/80 in amazing condition with no stretch.  Box no papers. Date 1966.  2 year warranty.  

Measuring 36mm in diameter, this is one of the largest of the vintage, time only, Rolex Oyster models.  Reference 6424 is similarly styled to the Ref. 6426, however, the 6424 is considerably rarer and has a number of distinctive features. First, in size terms, not only does the 6424 have a large case diameter of 36mm, but the overall length (including lugs) measures 43mm, this compares to the 41.5mm of the 6426 reference. Unlike the ref. 6426, the 6424’s lugs are un-pierced to the outside of the case, leaving an unbroken sweep to the polished case sides and are designed to take a 20mm wide strap or bracelet.
